“Waste into Green Energy” – Green Finance Opportunities is to demonstrate and highlight the importance of waste-to-green energy in the context of the sustainable energy industry, ultimately providing a great opportunity for green financing.
ESG, particularly waste-to-green energy, has potential to become the mainstream of sustainable development. The global waste-to-energy market is expected to reach a market size of USD 69.94 million by 2026, according to Mortor Intelligence. After the rapid growth in recent years, people are more concerned about urban waste generation. What approaches should we adopt for waste management to pursue sustainable urban development? What is the stable and truly reliable source of sustainable and renewable energy that we can use? We believe these are the main factors driving a strong demand of the waste-to-energy technology, because waste-to-green energy is the answer to solve the waste issues while producing energy through advanced technology.
This Event covers ESG policies in Hong Kong, social impact of sustainable and renewable energy industry, what is the best energy for sustainable development, how blockchain acts as a digital enabler for green finance, and most importantly, how waste-to-green energy has risen and become the mainstream of sustainable development.
